Yes, I think Greenwald is correct. I've mended my neocon ways, which were mainly to prove a point - that we had a UN agreement on Iraq for use of force, so if that or any UN force resolution was to mean anything, it was going to require force after the line was crossed.

So point proven, that it did mean something, but also that what was behind the UN was mostly BS. I'd rather the UN resolutions on force be meaningless, but again, if the UN resolution on the Minsk Agreement for prevention of force had meant something, then we wouldn't be in this mess. So maybe it's too early to give up on the UN. We need more honesty as a weapon. Our UN delegation wasn't being honest with us in not vetoing that resolution. It's obvious now that the US never had any intention of upholding it. Goober and McStain's video exhorting the troops in 2016 makes that clear.

So now we have NATO taking away a lot of our wealth and using it for the OPPOSITE of our security, which is what it was meant to be used for. I certainly feel less secure about the future. The UniParty facilitates this and acts as a champion, skimming their virtuous 10% royalty.

To paraphrase Nancy P. "People will do what they do." That goes for Ukraine and Russian people. I have no beef with or ownership of either, but I do have an ownership stake in NATO, whether I like it or not. NATO is not presently representing me in the way that it claims to do. We have no need for a military that makes us less secure. We certainly have no need to support a military that shells its own purported citizens just because they don't want to move when the other guys move in.

If we apply the America First policy to NATO, it may become much less adventurous and hegemonic. It's nice to have friends and allies, but not if they are constantly mooching off of you and leading you into bad choices. I don't know if the UniParty is like high school peer pressure, but it seems like it sometimes. The Globalists running the whole show with their patronage donations probably steer the crowd by showing them all the cool stuff they can get away with using all their ideas to skim and mooch.

Sounds like they're doing that now in Egypt.
