Well, there's gorgeous scenery. Yes, the people are (often) spoiled and rich- but I love the actress who will always be known as Stifler's mom- Jennifer Coolidge. And there are a lot of interesting performances in the series. I initially thought it would be too soapy, but I am enjoying it. This isn't high art, but it's entertaining. And there's a bit of a mystery set up from the first episode (like, who's in the casket?)
