The next two years are going to be tough for the next Speaker of the House if we're looking at a 2-4 seat Republican majority.

Yes, Nancy is gone.

However expect a lot of mini-Manchins and mini-Sinemas to dominate how things work in the House -- small groups of Democrats and Republicans that will need to be paid off or pandered to for their support if they want any legislation to be passed. The Republicans aren't as united as the Democrats are -- look at Adam Kinzinger and Liz Chaney.

The House is going to turn into some sort of fractured European Parliament.
