I guess the buy back is why they're up like you said. Declining earnings and a 24 PE just doesn't make sense otherwise.
Like I said a few days ago though, they were busy when I was there.
I'm still seeing tons of help wanted signs everywhere here but it's all low paying jobs. Auction prices are still high too so though I'm reading about increasing credit card defaults, bad car loans and Repos, increasing debt burdens etc, not really seeing it at the ground level. Cattle prices are up though so ranchers here might be flush and not typical of rest of the country.
They've got futures pinned just under ES 4K waiting on the PPI number so they can gap over resistance or fail and fall.
