No, 15,000 protesters in Iran were not sentenced to death
So far only one protester has received a death sentence. However, human rights groups warn that future sentences could be handed down without warning or due process.

So far, the only death penalty passed down applies to a protestor who was caught setting fire to several government buildings. Five others in the same case were sentenced to prison time. Nothing being reported as to whether there were also cases that were thrown out or had lesser punishments.

Even without the legislature's call for the death penalty, there are reportedly 300 executed and 15,000 arrested and jailed at some time.
