Re: Young Folk Portfolio ... Add On Buys

Today a partial cash contribution of $400 hit the Taxable Account and I purchased:

SYY - 2 shares @ $85.55
D - 4 shares @ $58.87

The objective with this account has been to bring each holding up to a full weight position. A full position in the Taxable Account is $8,000.

SYY now up to $8,445.
D now up to $7,668.

The account has 20 holdings and now 19 of those 20 are either full or overweight positions. Only D is underweight and I will add to it again at the end of the month.

Since 19 of the 20 positions are full, and since starting in January the monthly contributions will be going into the Roth, I now have the Taxable account all set up for dividend reinvestment. The Roth too is still all set up for dividend reinvestment.

I want to ensure that every position continues to be added to even if it's just in small amounts.
