I don't know, the thing about turnkey tyranny is that thems with the key don't give it up and there's nothing to be done about it. My theory is that it's become blatant and widely known because the point of no return has passed and nobody cares what the not-in-the-club think. Everything decays, even tyrannies, there's a lot of inefficiency in tyranny. Takes time of course, sucking all the meat off the bones of a country. I'm old and feel sorry for those who are not. Boomers. Worst generation ever.
