Three people opened up to me about their politics at work today. They are retards, almost literally. The stuff they were saying was so delusional it was shocking. I actually had a professor, someone who has a very good publishing record and I assumed was a pretty practical guy, he is knowledgeable about business anyway. He specializes in contracting. He started his talk on Friday saying something like, "now that republicans have the house they will try to cut medicare and social security" and then went on to talk about his research. I was shocked that anybody would think this let alone speak it. I had not heard any republicans talking about this. Though I did hear Rick Scott point out that the Democrats already cut several hundred million from medicare by fixing drug payments below what current prices are.
