Some phrases of advice from my old wood work teacher...

Usually in the form of a story.

"One apprentice is worth one apprentice in good work output.
Two apprentices are worth half an apprentice (as they chat a lot, goof off, and make more mistakes)
Three apprentices are worth nothing at all".

I just say that as I also babble a lot.

One phrase I hoped I learned though....

"Usually, especially if your beginning, it is best to keep your mouth shut and your ears open"
