If the CIA "knows" this, then why not take the $$$ like everything else we've stolen form Russians?
What are we supposed to do, send in Navy SEALs or Special Forces to seize PooTin's loot? I don't think anyone wants to risk more Black Hawk Downs, especially the timid Brandon.

Besides, we'd have a better chance getting our gLoBaLiSt hands on RuZZia's frozen assets and turning it back around to assist Ukraine.

Unfortunately that would legally require us to declare war on RuZZia.
