This man answered many questions I had. It appears that in recent years most of the power in the House became concentrated around the Speaker and the few handpicked individuals called the Rules Committee. The result is that House members do not have any influence on the process. Committees discuss issues, then they get consolidated into one of those infamous 2-3000 page bills. Members get very little time to review any of the many bills in each package. And Boom! It’s passed.

That’s how we keep getting trillion dollar deficit spending issues - with hardly any discussion.

This man has nothing against McCarthy - his problem is that the very process must be restored to the way it was meant to be in the Constitution. Without that, it appears that the leadership of the House is nothing but yet another little oligarchy - among others.

Not to many people prioritize the process. Everyone loves to make it about personalities. Very refreshing.

Matt Rosendale. I’ll remember him.
