Don, it's been a while since I've heard the term Gallium Arsenide. Don, Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS) is into those, and earnings have a pretty good track record. I think the stock may be ahead of itself with the recent run up, but that may be one to investigate.

DJ, just take my comments as what you paid for them. I'm just here to entertain ; ) Looks like INTC powered up to close off of its lows, so there may be some strength. If I was a chartist though, I'd say that we peaked at the recent highs, and may loop down again. Haven't we been surprised by that though. Another little thought: another all time DJIA high, and INTC is down. In the words of Dr. Henry Lee testifying for OJ Simpson: Something wong. I'm waiting for the big wave, (maybe March pre earnings jitters -- or sooner?) before I buy. I'm starting to develop a thesis: nobody really likes INTC like they do PG, G, GE and others. They sleep with our baby, and then dump her at the first opportunity. Others however are gentlemen, they hold onto her through thick and thin, no matter what. |
