Thanks. It was a rhetorical challenge, but an interesting article. Especially so because it entirely omitted the probable cause for her arrest and for her charge dismissal..

In October 2014, after a two-year investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation came to her workplace and took her away in handcuffs
In March 2015, federal prosecutors dropped all charges without any explanation.

I wonder if it has anything to do with this statement identified in the article about Wray's testimony?

But the Biden administration sharply constrained the ability of government agencies to go after Communist China.

Earlier this year, Biden’s DOJ shut down the China Initiative, falsely implying that it was racist.

“Anything that creates the impression that the Department of Justice applies different standards based on race or ethnicity harms the department and our efforts, and it harms the public,”

I think for a billion dollars, I might look the other way on poor people caught up in the CCP spy grinder too.

On second though, nah, I'm good.

Another thing I find interesting is that the charges and arrest came in 2014, yet the article attempts to lay blame on President Trump's "China Initiative". Very telling.
