All of this is the result of Big Government. Borrowing without any intention to pay back (aka, thievery) is its very foundation. The ultimate Bread and Circuses - 2000 years after Rome.
What a way to invade a country. Destroy the moral fabric of society, bankrupt the system, and inevitably, the foundation will crumble. The trust of its citizens dissolves, and you're left with what?
When Barack Obama became president, my first comment on this thread was, "the only thing that will save us now is the Constitution." I'm not so sure anymore. Judges make things up, leaders encourage lawbreaking, and whole cadres of lawyers organize to disrupt the common order. We see people being hunted down and detained without cause and/or due process. We see physical attacks from all corners, innocents being prosecuted because of their political beliefs. People who need help being left to their own devices, living day to day in the squalor of the cities.
Look at who determined the outcome of the midterms. Morality is nearly dead........that particular task is well on its way to completion.
Trump did us a favor by nominating conservatives to the bench, and thankfully congress obliged, so they say we're safe for a generation, but in the long run, I don't see how six people can save us from this movement? After all.......these same judges ignored legitimate grievances and refused to acknowledge huge irregularities in the 2020 presidential election, and so did state legislators.
Those fostering the destruction of the U.S. own the media, academia and the DOJ. With every loss they experience, they double down and become even more determined to destroy the fabric of our nation.
This is a fairly new phenomena for me, but every time I hear a politician call for more funding for this program or that infrastructure proposal I immediately, and without hesitation, wonder whose pockets will be lined?
Didn't mean to be a downer, but that's how I see it this morning. I do believe there is hope because history shows us that Americans are incredible fighters. These bastards can't deny that reality, I just don't know if we still have it in us to protect what is left?
Just imagine our shores being attacked by a foreign adversary.......like China.......and believing our youth would stand up and fight back. |
