I assumed polarizing most effective at right angles. Never gave it a thought or used otherwise.
Two different pics, but same cookie- like sunshine both days.
The 2nd taken with a polarizer filter... it redefined the 'blob' to a 'star- like' quality, reduced the
glare, & re- captured the sky as it's natural blue
