Marc Levin is replaying a recent show. Tom Cotton comes up. He’s very unhappy with US foreign policy - especially, that we “allowed” China to become strong. He says (paraphrasing) that back in the late 80’s - early 90’s, “when Communist Russia was on the ropes - was the right time to turn attention to Communist China”. He seems to imply they should have been stopped early.

What exactly does he mean? That we should have used the moment when China was dirt poor, with a starving population, trying to get over decades of terror? That we should have destroyed them before they managed to get over their “cultural Revolution”?

That’s a real deep dive, Senator! Does he ever think about what he says? The dude isn’t just a warmonger - he’s also not exactly sane.
