That’s horrible. Reminds me how many years ago a girls school in Saudi Arabia caught fire - and the guards wouldn’t let them escape because, apparently, the way they were dressed wasn’t up to the social and religious standards. Many, as I recall, died. Because of this zero CoViD obsession China's rulers will get themselves and the country into trouble. A highly infectious virus like Omicron can’t be stopped. Let them proclaim victory about having kept earlier, more deadly versions under control - and stop this nonsense.
