This is what I'm talking about:

<< Jazz has the potential to become what zip is becoming. >>

<< Click's timing is excellent. >>

<< There seems to be a lot of cooperation with other companies in the development of CLIK! >>

What the heck is this stuff? Alot of dreaming, IMO.

I swear, there is somekind of mass hypnotism (or blindness) going on
on this thread. It's time for some 'tough love' here: Doesn't anyone
get it? In my opinion:

IOMEGA IS A ONE PRODUCT COMPANY. THEIR LIVELYHOOD RESTS
SOLEY ON THE SUCCESS OF THE ZIP DRIVE. THERE ARE SIGNS
OF SLOWING DEMAND, SO THEY THROW A "HAIL MARY" PASS.

It's that simple... Jaz is too high priced to last, and Jaz 2 will
be limited to a few, high end customers. Several vendors have played
in this market already, it's not big enough, and there are too
many competitors to make a big difference.

About CLIK!, I posted info on the 'real' CLIK! device (from SMOD)
yesterday, and only TWO people cared enough to respond. I swear,
there are about 5 people on this thread who know what the heck is
going on and the rest are along for the ride or just people looking
to make a quick buck. No wonder institutions frown on this one.

And timely?? C'mon. If Iomega says Q3-Q4, when do you think we'll
see it?? Also, look at flash price curves...

The SMOD device: look at the power specs, WOW!! This works in
PDAs. Any vendor looking at CLIK! sees a spec like: "less than
a Christmas bulb during an access". How can a vendor design to that?

I sure hope for your sakes that you guys are right and I'm wrong.
(the stock is so low now it's too late to do anything anyway). But
if I had extra cash I sure wouldn't put it down this sinkhole. (IMO)

Good Luck,

kp

P.S. You guys should thank me. I post this stuff when I see the
hysteria rise again. It's good to keep things in perspective.
