Anyone who says that science demonstrates there is no God doesn't understand science. Same the other way around - although when you see the beauty and complexity of God's creations _and how they work_ (as revealed by science), as far as belief goes, it is possible, but hard to deny. While there are many scientists who are atheists or agnostics, you'll also find many religious or spiritual ones as well. Understanding via science is sort of like going to the Sistine chapel in person and seeing Michelangelo's whole work, as opposed to looking at the familiar small section of "Creation of Adam" on a monitor. (It's actually a much bigger difference, but just to provide a point).
