Silver Standard Chosen by Fidelity - now owns 10.44% Fidelity purchases stock and warrants Silver Standard Resources Inc SSO Shares issued 15,320,797 Feb 10 close $6.40 Wed 11 Feb 98 News Release Ms Heather Whyte of Fidelity Management reports. Certain open-end investment companies of which Fidelity Management & Research Company serves as investment manager have in recent transactions purchased Silver Standard Resources common stock and warrants. Assuming conversion of the warrants, the investment companies hold 10.44% of the issued and outstanding voting securities of Standard Resources. Fidelity fund purchases have been made for investment; the Fidelity funds may, subject to market conditions, make additional investments in or dispositions of securities of Standard Resources in the future, including additional purchases of both the warrants and common stock.
