I suspect no young prosecutor can have a successful career unless he /she / they convict (or try to convict) at least one Chinese person. Ever since those guys are done building our railroads, all they do, it seems, is become PhD’s and spies. In the meantime, China has 20 engineering schools among the top 50 in the world. And 5 out of the top 10. At this rate, at some point we’ll be more concerned about having assets in their institutions, to make sure they don’t make any breakthrough inventions - and forget to tell us.
