This issue's come up before over on the aol bob Brinker ABC radio site (which I can't seem to find anymore) Anyway when one overly persistent subscriber started arguing and almost harassing Bob about it Bob finally said if he and a few other "whiners" were not happy he would be happy to cancel their subscription and I think send back a partial refund or something. He made it clear he doesn't find it feasable since people could just easily violate copyright and forward the E-mailed newsletter to a vast amount of people and could end up on the internet etc. and be a much bigger problem than the paper copy. By the way if people are still getting into that aol site let me know, maybe it's just been busy when I've tried to get in. His site was a main reason I kept aol along with my ISP Marc
