< I’m sure you know this> Actually, I don’t. I can know what other people say and do, sometimes. At best. Even this is uncertain. But I can never know anyone else’s thoughts, their motivations, their lusts, their agenda. Your mind (and everyone else’s) is a black box to me. Not just hard to know, but inherently Unknowable. Mostly, when anyone tries to guess what someone else is thinking (especially someone they dislike), their guess is just projection, assumptions, extrapolation, prejudice. So you should quit thinking you know what motivates environmentalists. They don’t understand you….. and you will never understand them.
