If true, at 100K, still not fatal if the Ukrainians can keep their country, the 80% they still have, and logic says to stop, regroup, and spend 10+ years to prepare for recovery of the rest should they wish to try

If I be the Russians, I fear the Carthaginian peace resolution might be attractive if Russians take their wars seriously, else face a bigger problem 10+ years out, which, if nuclear-facilitated, might be the final problem. IOW Ukraine must be turned from industrial ti agrarian.
The situation is simply going from terrible to tragic.
Team USA / UK need to step up and put boots on the ground, and fast. A defeat in the Ukraines can not be swept under the rug as same in Afghanistan was. |
