Filer,

Lay off the ether. If a newbie were to only read your posts, they would get the idea that Iomega has discoverd the cure for cancer, and KE walks on water. It's Iomaniacal super-bulls like you who give IOM the terrible rep it has to live with. The image of wide-eyed "I Been Hypnotized!" faces is what The Street thinks of the typical Iomega Bull. You seem to fit this bill to a tee.

The facts are, Iomega's technolgy is not revolutionary-- it isn't even the leader in it's own sector. Syquest Quest will have 135% more capacity, faster performance, Utilize Magneto-Resistive Tech, and cost about the same as Jaz2. SParQ costs the same as Zip Plus, and holds 10 times as much. It is also at least 5 times faster using the Parallel Port. SyJet holds 50% more than Jaz1. Castelwood's Orb will cost $199 and hold 2.1 Gigs using MR tech.

The really sad part is that someone who visits Iomega's website and takes the tasteless marketing there at face value, is someone who deserves to have half of their holdings vanish overnight.
