People weren't being oh-so-racist against Obama back in 2006 when his star was rising in politics?

The whole "birther controversy" wasn't really a thing before Trump?

Even Chris Rock mentioned how the racists were trying desperately to make themselves relevant thanks to Obama becoming president.

All that happened before Trump. Hate rises, hate falls, samo samo. I realized this back in 2009, and nothing has changed since then.
