MW: Perhaps Joe is asleep right now. Let me take a stab at it. 1) Why do you think Y2K assessment and remediation work is more profitable than regular factory automation work? Supply and demand. The y2k work MUST BE DONE, by a deadline that is quite clear. No other company is offering a comprehensive (I'm not saying high-tech, just comprehensive) methodology for it. Other projects can be put off. Companies that finally wake up to their y2k embedded chip problems will be willing to pay for the head start the TAVA program--with its valuable database--promises.
