Steve, I actually used your post from a few days back and bought a little bit of each stock just to see how it went. Have yet to go to Barchart and try it out, so that’s just me being lazy and “glomming on” to your hard work haha. AZYO had a SPO after I had placed my initial purchase trade too, and it went down 25 plus percent (but I bought more near the $4 low of the day lol).
I would definitely be interested in being involved in this! I have tried my hands at various swing-trading type activities: buying SQQQ/TQQQ (and some of the other 3x trading vehicles) to take advantage of up/down moves, selling weekly puts, that expire the same week, to bet that a stock doesn’t go below a certain price (and get the premium income), buying “good” stocks that get unnecessarily punished for a bad report, etc. I have mixed results on all but the latter, which are usually longer-term holds or additions to existing positions.
I manage my parents’ (late 70’s) portfolios, and my own family’s, and I’m mid-40’s, so I need to be more aggressive in mine and achieve better results than a DGI/income portfolio (which usually would be better off in indexes for accumulation stage).
I enjoy, and benefit from, this trading blog, and definitely glean ideas from it. I know it’s mostly for you to get your thoughts down on paper, but I’m sure several of us benefit from it, and thank you for continuing it! :) |
