The thing I haven't figured out is how to tell if a pattern is a accumulation/distribution Wycoff pattern or a continuation flag. Since the lows, we've been building flags at even hundred intervals. We consolidated at 3650, then 3750, 3850, 3950 and now are around 4050. The hundred point moves up are fast leaving most behind but as you point out, sooner or later one could be a Wycoff and dump the other way just as fast or worse since markets tend to drop faster than they climb.
I've been wondering about the JPM put spread put on a couple months ago. It's looking like they're going to take a bath on it unless they have been unwinding it quietly.
