Can't have democracy when the losers of any given election refuse to accept the results. You're fooling yourself if you think that elections in the US are not a total mess. Roll the clock way back to big city machine politics and the occasional dump of ballots emanating from the cemetery and you still had the vast majority of the country, like it or not, willing to accept electoral results. We've come a long way from those days and the current systems are rotten and ripe for abuse. When half the country doesn't trust the honesty of the process, then we're cruising for big trouble ahead. Politicians and/or the courts had better fix it, or watch out..
