So sorry to hear that you lost your buddy, Finnegan. It’s this darned thing with dogs. Every 10 years or so you lose them. You would think it gets easier as you keep losing them. It never does and every time you lose one, you promise yourself “Never again” and yet, you are just about guaranteed to do it again. What draws me to dog ownership is not the length of time but the quality of time. The fun. The love. The unforgettable experiences. Try to concentrate on remembering all the good / fun times you had with Finnegan and share them with your loved ones. It’s just about guaranteed to produce smiles and laughter. OK, with a few tears mixed in.
