THe software security market is growing at 15%/year. I am sure most analysts can't see how Aladdin can do better than that (even though they've shown the ability to). $100m in 2000 is a laudable goal, but they are going to have to do some major acquisitions to reach that.

IMO, Major positives are the ASE (huge potential in smart cards), Privilege (although this is a little bit of catch-up with Rainbow), Rainbow's lack of focus. Negatives are Israeli political instability (not a problem I think, but it depresses PEs of many Israeli companies) and artificially low tax rate (about 7% in FY97).

I'm trying to get in touch with CFO; I'll let everybody know if I find out anything interesting.
