I think that this is a possibility. We will just have to see. I don't think Apple will be able to buck the market trend, especially if the trend is negative. But the other thing is that these guys make more money the greater the market churn. So it is in their best business interest for lots of movements in the market

For me, I am staying long term and not selling my shares. But I may look at some option trades.
