Tom, just my interpretation. It looks like Europe is starting to have capacity problems. QCOM's angle is to offer an alternative for infra expansion. The overlay I guess fools the system on both ends to think that they are GSM, when everything in between is CDMA. Irwin sounded positive on the test. Then he added that there are a bunch of political/bureaucratic bs going on with new bandwidth allocation. I came away clueless as to how significant the QCOM/VOD trials may be. We will probably get a much better picture when they publish the results. My guess is it could be a big boost for QCOM but not much damage if it turned out to be no big deal. Ramsey
