Psychological profile of a bear... i.e., Staley would say... you guys being full-time bears are in the minority. It's as uncomfortable for most of us to go bearish as it is for taxi or Babb's threads to go bullish. The majority are not as sophisticated and, bluntly, not as pessimistic. The 401k/peace dividend bull is unstoppable by all but the worst disasters, and I mean World War III.

That means if you're a bear by nature, you have to do what's fundamentally uncomfortable for you. Bull bets come without the gut feeling of being right, but they're more likely to win.
