Brandon does that all by himself. PooTin doesn't need to help.

I still fail to see how this is going to help PooTin win the war in Ukraine, or even survive it.

Because like you said, PooTin didn't need to release the basketball player. He could have extracted more concessions out of Brandon, like maybe some easing of sanctions, reducing the flow of arms to Ukraine, or getting better cooperation from Mohammed bin Assassin.

Bottom line is that PooTin is looking more and more like a loser. He can't even outsmart a Jewish comedian, so all he can do is try and embarrass Brandon. BFD.
