Just found this board and the Mobile Mayo website. I will be reading up this weekend.

I was a long time investor in IMMU which was bought out in 2018 by GILD after an exciting hostile takeover by a VC fund that basically snarfed us from the jaws of bankruptcy. Great product, horrible mismanagement for the 30 years I was accumulating the stock. I made a fortune, although much later in life than I would have chosen!! Patience pays. OR, you could say, I wasn't wrong, I was early. But early is pretty much wrong in the investment game!! Like 30 years too early.

I figured I would reinvest a portion of those earnings in more biotechs. I got into IMMU because I knew a little about monoclonal antibodies way before it was a common jargon in the world. We had an excellent board on Silicon Investor, and that group of investors still exists to work together to find other biotechs to invest in. Many researchers are better than 1. Most of us would have not held on if not for the info on that board because there is almost no available information for the retail investor about small biotechs. I thought MAB's were a surefire way to cure cancer.

Well, MABs are all over the place now along with all sorts of variations on the theme. Cancer is being cured and managed. Time to pick a new target.

I felt in 2020 that the time was near when we would start making some inroads on CNS disorders, so I bought a basket of small biotechs. AVXL was one. Over the past 2 years, we have upped our holdings, and we do expect a payoff in the not too distant future.

I had the background in chemistry to comprehend most of what went on with MAB's, but I really am out of my league with CNS functionality. So I have been searching all over the place for info where some patient person has done some of the work for me.

I did find some work at IHUB but I found that site miserable to navigate and sort of forgot about it. I stumbled on this today!! I will be posting the link on the IMMU moderated board site where some folks there have invested in AVXL, SAVA, and other CNS-directed biotechs.

Looking forward to having discussions especially now that it looks like progress is being made in the trials.

I am thrilled that someone has been able to attend the meetings and speak to some of the investigators. We did this for IMMU, some folks lived on the East coast and reported back to us. This is what you have to do to know what's happening because no media are going to cover it for us.

Thanks for all the hard work.
