DavidG - in reference to your post of posiible Kurlak leaks on the afternoons before his negative spins, I will comment on two of them without checking my records. On Aug 13th, the afternoon before his first negative announcement, I sold some on my puts, and then, I think, Paine Webber, made a downgrade. So the last hour or two was due to the downgrade. Then, on Dec 15th, price action may have been in anticipation of the earnings report that PM. FYI, I have MU 3 and 15 min charts (2&10day) from Telescan saved on my computer since Dec 96, so I can go back to 3pm on Jan 15, 97 and check the action, if I wanted to. I think that I will go back and check the TA on charts for the afternoon before TK speaks. I also download TC2000 charts, which provide exact numbers for open, high, low, and close of each day, and I have that data back to 1985 for MU. The system also adjusts all back data for splits when they occur. I imagine that I have at least a 1000 hours research on MU. I have copied just about everything from MU website, such as, the history of each year, financials, products, etc. For instance, about 6 or 8 years ago, when MU whined about dumping of chips, and won with tarriffs on imports, it took about 6 or 7 months for it to occur. So, any action from Appleton this month, will probably not produce any results for a half year, if any. Close to market opening, so gotta get ready. Patrick |
