I think the Infinite Borrowing philosophy has been “working” for so many years that our politicians of BOTH parties, by now, are convinced that they’ve discovered the financial “Perpetuum Mobile”, an eternal and bottomless money machine that will keep on giving - forever.

In reality, we are enjoying a nice after dinner cigar, feeling good about ourselves - while sitting on a leaky powder keg. It will blow - and the repercussions will be harsh, and global.
