Caroline, You nailed me there. I have a hard time convincing myself to buy at these levels. I also had a hard time at 6000 which should tell me something. Fortunately, everyday brings a case of over-enthusiasm that can be taken advantage of by the nimble. Trouble is that you end up gored more than is comfortable<very weak G>. Asia down across the board, MSFT downgraded, SUNW and CPQ being looked at today. Maybe it will be enough to make a bear grin - even if only temporarily. lee
