Volume is THE most critical part of the reversal picture.

My fave reversal formation is the rounding bottom.
It is slow enough to gather a lot of energy for a longer run up in price. The longer the bottom takes, the better the price will rise, usually.

I also like the triangle reversal, because it's so reliable, both in result and timing. The long term benifit may not be as great, but it's actually easier to trade on.
