NYA vs OEX performance:

The largest components in OEX are big-cap growth companies. NYA has relatively more Value and Dividend companies. The fact that, since late 2021, value has outperformed growth, is bearish.

The fact that all the indexes continue their pattern of lower lows, and none of them have taken out the August highs, is bearish.

A sustainable bull market rally will see QQQ and SOX outperform; and OEX outperform NYA. Any rally where value outperforms growth, should be considered a bear market rally.

The steepest year-to-date slide: large-cap growth ( IVW), which is in the hole by roughly 25% this year:
