Are you talking about cases of sudden death, often unexplained?

I always suspected that many of those cases are caused by some form of myocarditis. Often, it may be caused by a virus. The virus may also cause intravascular clotting - and heart attacks - but that would show up on autopsy. Or, it may happen because of a dangerous arrhythmia - in which case, autopsy may not show anything.
