OT - Fusion - For those who don't have time to watch the video the crux is that they got back 1% of the power they put ultimately. Yes the laser reaction produced more power if you don't look at how much power it took to refine the lasers and focus them to produce the reaction. I'm not sure if magnetic containment is closer tech wise but I doubt it. Nuclear has been delayed for years due to a few accidents and moronic backlast from the likes of Greenpeace (funded by big oil). Next generation nuclear (SMR) and other tech show here (see 8 min mark). I really don't like how he characterizes nuclear in the first part of the video, shows ignorance imo, but from the 8 min mark it's fairly interesting

Hydrogen (despite what Elon says) is most likely part of the solution when it comes to steal making, maybe flights and shipping.
