Very interesting. Thanks for following up. I noted that several of the offers were from Stacksocial but several others, such as Gamespot or PC World, etc were not. Whether or not they are fronting Stcksocial, I cannot tell.

I bought my copy of MS office for $15 or some siliy number like that. Prior to that I bought another office pro for $30. Such deals are not uncommon to enterprise employees. Basically Microsoft knows that if you work for a large enterprise then you are not going to buy the office and will just use your organization's software. So they are willing to sell you a license at a deep discount. In my case, they verified where I work by emailing the link to my work address.

Regardless, it is always important to make sure you are buying from a legit vendor and that the download link is to a reputable organization. Otherwise you could be installing a malware.

Also, always run malwarebytes in addition to an antivirus before installing a sofware.
