I didn't read their posts, if that's what you mean. But Musk said it and many people have backed up that claim. I don't follow any of those fartknockers so I wouldn't know personally.
I do know that Musk was concerned about it at the time, refused to give autographs which has been his tradition, got some photos of the bad guy, and had numerous tough looking body guards while they got into the car.
