Now I may be wrong about this, but I seem to recall some athletes were demanding to be paid in cryptocurrency in the not so distant past. I'm mainly thinking NFL, but some other sports may be involved as well. I presume (because I don't really know) that any player(s) that may have chosen "cryptobucks" over the US$ and actually "received" compensation in that manner are likely SOL as far as recovering any and/or all (if any) crypto losses... Maybe a possible claim for losses on their income tax filings??? Am I right?
