Yes, we are extremely lucky that the young seldom have severe cases of CoViD. It’s a disease of the old and the unhealthy.

But, it’s still very real for many people. My wife’s cousin recently died of CoViD - she was on Chemo for a malignancy. There are (preliminary) reports that in recent months Omicron may have turned a bit nastier. And - no one knows the future. Covid, in one form or another, is becoming endemic. Hopefully, it will continue to drift in the direction of becoming milder. But - we don’t know. Just like with Flu - it’s something familiar, until it turns into a huge killer - like in 1918.

Same may happen with Covid. We need to keep looking for means of dealing with it.

We just need to keep reminding a-hole politicians to mind their own business. (Edit - and don’t forget the Constitution which they all swear to uphold).
