The entire world had some kind of a psychotic episode with this virus. Except for Sweden and… Florida. Governments overreacted like crazy.


Or they just saw their opportunity.

In the West you had Trump whose ideology (is that the right word?) was taking hold;
In the East you had Hong Kong protests who seemed to be starting to chip into China's power.

I'm sure there were similar things going on in other countries.

Those in power had to regain.

Everyone else followed along.
