This post from last Wednesday is also important, if your Mac is running macOS Monterey or Ventura:
macOS WiFi bug

A confirmed Apple bug has been causing WiFi problems in macOS 12 and macOS 13. A workaround disables AirDrop and AirPlay, but Apple needs to fix its firmware. macOS 13.1 may do that, but it’s not yet confirmed, and macOS 12 may be left unfixed.

Recent Apple updates leading to WiFi issues & an interim solution

Meter is currently tracking an issue that is affecting devices on macOS Monterey and macOS Ventura with M1/M2 MacBooks acutely affected — leading to slow internet connection, drops in Zoom calls, and entirely losing a WiFi connection.
